A viking classic from the Edwardian era re-published
Norse Tales first published in 1912 has now been republished as a modern paperback and e-book. It was written by British author, Edward Thomas. Norse Tales is about the Norse Gods that the Vikings worshipped. Featuring Odin, Thor, Loki, other Gods, the Valkyries, Valhalla, serpents, wolves, dwarfs and giants. It is full of wild twists and turns, as the Gods battle their enemies and face challenges only Gods could deal with. Edward Thomas, wrote the book using old sources such as the Prose Edda, created by Icelandic historian, Snorri Sturluson, in the 13th Century. Five years after Norse Tales was completed, he was killed at the Battle of Arras, on the Western Front, on Easter Sunday, 1917.
